 Good afternoon parents,  I hope you are having a lovely weekend and are enjoying the sunshine. Who can believe it is the last weekend of summer already? ☀😎  Just a few pieces of information for Week Five. Homework On Monday, the next fortnight of homework will be sent home that consists of the Year Two fluency grid with this fortnights focus sounds and tricky words. Have a look at our last blog post which shows you how you can use this at home to increase your child's reading fluency. We have also included all of the spelling lists for your information on the back of the fluency grid. The pink list 💓 is the target for Year Two from our InitiaLit program. Please feel free to use these lists at home to increase your child's spelling abilities.   Good afternoon  parents, Wow! What an absolutely busy yet fun first full week we have had in Year Two. Swimming lessons have finished and we are into full days of learning this week. Can you believe it is already week 3? I am so proud of how much focus and persistence our Year Two team are showing when learning new things. In just a few weeks we are already growing in our confidence to problem solve, continuing to build our independence to complete our work, try out new things and even suggest and share our own ideas.    Thank you to all who have made the time to read through the parent information slides posted last week and read through the other information in the previous posts. I hope it was a great way to find out the 'nitty gritty' of  Year Two learning and life in our class. Hi Everyone,  Welcome to the 2024 parent information night for Year Two.  A big thank you to all those who were able to attend. We understand that it might have been a bit difficult for some people to attend due to other commitments, so we are very privileged to be able to present this to you in an online capacity as well as in person. We are so excited to teach your children and have already had such a great week getting to know everyone.
